Norwegen hat heute bei RMMV 284 neue Lastwagen um ca. 2 Mrd. NOK (168 Mio. EUR) bestellt. Darunter hauptsächlich TG MIL 8x8 Hakenlastsysteme und eine kleine Anzahl von Hakenlastsystemen für das Fliegerabwehrsystem NASAMS:

Norwegen hat einen Vertrag mit Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace zur Obsoleszenzbereinigung des Radarsystems AN/MPQ-64 abgeschlossen. Der Auftrag hat einen Wert von 365 Mio. NOK (30,94 Mio. EUR) und soll bis Ende 2025 abgeschlossen sein:

Norwegen bestellt bei Kongsberg Defence weitere Komponenten des Systems NASAMS im Wert von 12,5 Mrd. NOK (1,064 Mrd. EUR):

• 3 zusätzliche Lenkwaffen für NASAMS mit kurzer, mittlerer und großer Reichweite als Ersatz für die aktuelle AIM-120B (Kosten: 9,4 Mrd. NOK):

  • AIM-120C AMRAAM
  • AMRAAM ER

• 8 Starteinheiten und 4 Feuerleitzentralen für NASAMS (Kosten: 2,3 Mrd. NOK)

• Neue Lenkwaffen AIM-9X für die Begleit-Fliegerabwehr (Umrüstung der ACSV auf AIM-9X; die IRIS-T der norwegischen Luftwaffe wurden an die Ukraine abgegeben und die ursprünglich geplante Nutzung am ACSV wird nicht umgesetzt)

Es handelt sich um die größte Investition in die Fliegerabwehr seit 30 Jahren.

Norway – AIM-120C-8 Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missiles

The Government of Norway has requested to buy three hundred (300) AIM-120C-8 Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missiles (AMRAAM) and twenty (20) AIM-120C-8 AMRAAM guidance sections. Also included is the following non-MDE: AMRAAM containers and support equipment; spare parts, consumables, accessories, and repair and return support; weapons software, support equipment, and classified software delivery and support; transportation support; classified publications and technical documentation; training; studies and surveys; U.S. Government and contractor engineering; technical and logistics support services; and other related elements of logistics and program support. The estimated total cost is $1.94 billion.

The proposed sale will improve Norway’s capability to meet current and future threats by supplementing and replacing its AIM-120B AMRAAMs with the latest version of the AIM-120C. Norway already has AMRAAMs and F-35As in its inventory and will have no difficulty absorbing these articles into its armed forces. The newly acquired missiles will be used for ground-based air defense in the National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System (NASAMS) but may be subject to dual use with the F-35A.

On May 29-30, 2024 the annual conference of KDA Remote Turret users "KONGSBERG PROTECTOR Users Working Group 2024" was held in Kongsberg, Norway.

MESKO had the pleasure of presenting an original model of the integration kit enabling mounting two PIORUN MANPADS launchers on the PROTECTOR RS6 Remote Weapon Station, mounted on a Mowag Piranha 8x8.

Zusätzlich wird mit dem Parlament (Stortinget) die Beschaffung von zwei Langstrecken-Fliegerabwehrsystemen vereinbart. Eines dieser Systeme soll den Osten Norwegens, einschließlich Oslos, schützen.

Chess is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a €7.5 million contract for its AirGuard Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) for air base and critical infrastructure protection for an international customer.

The majority of the contract is to be delivered during the current and next financial years.
